Roland Lundby Jr. Memorial Fund
Roland always liked to do things a little differently and personally.
In lieu of flowers or donations to one particular organization, we have decided to set-up a memorial fund in Roland's name.
Roland helped so many people throughout his life and we would like to be able to continue his legacy.
Through his work with AwardX, he assisted many local nonprofits throughout Denver with their fundraising events, and he also loved sharing his children's BBQ with people.
Over the coming years we would like to be able to make donations, provide products, or meals to the individuals and organizations he supported.
Roland loved to surprise people, and we feel that Dad will let us know the time and place to donate these funds over the coming years. They will be made in his name, and we will update you all on this site with photos and stories. Of course, if you have a particular cause or program you would like your donation to go to, please let us know.
Dad never wanted anyone to worry about him and that is why he did not let many people know he was diagnosed with cancer in November 2019. The optimism that filled his body outweighed anything else. He wanted to get better and he wanted to see everyone again. Ultimately, his physical body just could not keep up with him, but we have no doubt he is looking down on all of us with that glint in his eye and half smile on his face that we all loved.
